ADVICES
Dear visitors, please not that it is recommended to wear sturdy shoes.As a protection against dampness we hand out capes.The temperature down in the Grottoes averages 8 to 10 degrees above zero at relative air moisture of nearly 100%.
The distance in the mine of 550m is easily manageable due to the well accessible stairs.
The underground conditions are not suitable for wheelchair access, thus wheelchair users are unable to participate in the guided tours through the Grottoes.
In order to follow the security policy it is not allowed to bring along pets or any other animal.
Directly situated at the Fairy Grottoes sufficient parking lots for cars, coaches and caravans are provided.
